RACES CANCELELD AT THE IOWA STATE FAIR SPEEDWAY

(Des Moines, Iowa) (May 4, 2001) Heavy rains over the last several days have led to cancellation of the Friday night racing program at the Iowa State Fair Speedway. Nearly two inches of rain had fallen in the last two days with more expected Friday evening.
Racing resumes next Friday night with hot laps at 6:00 PM followed by competition among IMCA late models, IMCA modifieds, IMCA stock cars, IMCA hobby stocks and Moyer Chevrolet NDTR dirt trucks.
