(Stuart, Iowa) Todd Inman continued his dominance over IMCA stock cars Sunday night at the Stuart Speedway as he won his fourth straight feature of the year. Mike Morrill repeated his dwarf car victory from last week as did the duo of Meyer and Meyer in the cruisers. Dave Farren, IMCA’s active driver with the most career wins, won the modified feature and Larry Embrey won the IMCA hobby stock feature.
Todd Inman passed Monty Knode on the fourth lap of the IMCA stock car feature and led the rest of race. Knode finished second, Erick Knudsen third and David Cirksena was fourth.
Rex Parkison passed Chris Pruitt for the lead on the third lap of the IMCA modified feature, but it was only two laps later that he was passed by Dave Farren. Terry Pruitt and Joe College chased Farren for the last half of the 20-lap feature. Farren won closely followed by Pruitt, College and Bob Airhart.
In the dwarf car feature, Todd Shute was the early leader until Mike Morrill, who started in the sixth row, passed him for the lead on the eighth lap. Morrill received the checkered first with Shane Hunter second, Randy Bryan third, and Cliff Barber was fourth.
In the IMCA hobby stock feature, veteran Larry Embrey passed Kerry Hayes on the second lap and roared away for the victory. Hayes finished second with Dave McDonald third and Embrey’s son Randy in fourth.
Meyer and Meyer led nine laps of the 10-lap cruiser feature for the win. Shawn Aldrich and Brandon McNain finished second
As part of an exciting Memorial weekend, the first Ron Little Memorial Special will be run as part of the regular Sunday program on May 28.
Racing continues in all classes next Sunday with gates opening at 4:30 P.M., hot laps at 6:15, followed by racing competition. The track phone is
