Inman and Scheuermann Three-peat at Stuart Speedway

Stuart, Iowa (May 7, 2000) – Todd Inman in his IMCA stock car and Rod Scheuermann in his IMCA modified won their third straight feature wins Sunday at the Stuart Speedway. Randy Embrey beat his son Jeremy to the checkered to win the IMCA hobby stock feature and Mike Morrill was victorious in his dwarf car. Meyer and Meyer won the cruiser feature.
In the "Ron Little Memorial" IMCA modified feature, Rod Scheuermann passed Paul Chumos on the fourth lap and led the rest of the race. Dave Farren started in ninth position and moved to second place by fifth lap, but was not able to catch Scheuermann. Terry Pruitt and Joe College started behind Farren and moved through the field to finish third and fourth.
Todd Inman led every lap of the IMCA stock car feature and powered his car to victory. Erick Knutson finished second with Steve Jackson, who started 12th, finishing third and Tim Baker fourth.
In the IMCA hobby stock feature, Kevin Howard took the early lead from the pole position. Randy Embrey started in the fifth row and finally passed Howard on the tenth lap and took the checkered flag just in front of his son Jeremy Embrey, who ran second. Mike Albertson was third and Don Wear fourth. After the race, Scott Pickrell claimed the engine of Albertson.
Mike Morrill passed Shawn Edwards on the third lap of the dwarf car feature and stayed in front to take the checkered first. Shane Hunter was second, Cliff Barber third, and Randy Bryan fourth. Morrill captured the trophy dash.
The cruiser feature went to the duo of Meyer of Meyer with Murphy and Wolfe finishing second.
Racing continues in all classes next Sunday with gates opening at 4:30 P.M., hot laps at 6:15, followed by racing competition. The track phone is
